Collage y acción

What would happen if instead of composing images on paper it was done on the theatrical stage and in real time? Can collage be made with our bodies and objects or dreams that surround us? The scenic artist Macarena Recuerda Sheperd raises these questions within the investigation called Collage y acción, an inter-generational laboratory that aims to create a space for both fun and artistic experimentation. Rehearse with plastic materials, sound landscapes and the body in action, and discover the possibilities and readings that arise from compositions generated by the practice of collage itself. A residence-laboratory with which it intends to have the participation of the public as co-creators. Investigate the piece as a creative and non-expository encounter, and investigate this new language, which has been called Happening-collage.

Released in 2015, it has travelled to numerous venues such as La Alhóndiga (Bilbao), Festival Salmon in the Caixaforum (Barcelona) or Tabakalea (Donòstia).
