The Prussians

The Prussians are Mallorcans but they take inspiration from groups such as the Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Foals, Bloc Party, Glass Animals, The XX and Alt J. Those are their benchmarks. They have already produced three albums and are preparing to present their fourth. At the start of the year they released Soul, a song where they display their most evolved sound, one that distances itself from their first album, Mul Mul, as it draws on bases that are more electronic, but quieter, more melodic and less plucked. Karma is their latest album and they will present it at La Petita. In it they talk about interpersonal relationships and the relationship of human beings with the world, they talk about karma and ask where it comes from or if it comes into play at any time or not. Dominic, Tino, Ferchu and Gabriel have spent many years experimenting with different sounds and melodies since winning the first Art Jove contemporary young musicians prize in 2013. Since then they have strengthened their bold, energetic and indie sound, a catalyst for the national music scene.
