Here, Amalia Fernández blends all of the occupations that she would like to do herself: singer, scientist, mystic, mathematician and, lastly, spectator. Atechnological and handcrafted, this piece is a finite theatrical event, but it boldly points towards eternity: Five people devote themselves to actively and constantly maintaining a muzak that gradually transforms, a choreographic score with choral, theatrical, performative and poetic elements with alert and painstaking attention paid to the exact choreography, the precise execution of the score, and the coordination with the rest of the group and with a considerable physical effort in order to produce music that, in another piece, could have been produced simply by hitting the play button. El resistente y delicado hilo musical (The resilient and delicate muzak) is a stage project that seeks to fulfil all wishes at once while simultaneously generating new ones.
