Cafuné

Cafuné proposes a circus montage, while alluding to the most varied stage techniques, from acrobatic numbers to contemporary dance, without leaving aside physical theatre, always using the body to form letters from the alphabet and where movement acts as grammar. In Cafuné, human relationships are reflected upon, exposed and nuanced, exploring the difficulties arising from finding harmony and balance between two individuals. By means of a game of manipulation, caresses and disagreements, different states are shown in a relationship, passing through moments of symbiosis, while maintaining the individuality of each one of the parties. This montage represents the second creation of Du'K'tO, one of the most promising emerging Mallorcan companies within the scenic languages linked to the body and movement. Cafuné has won the first prize for the IV MATX of Circ - Circaire, Mostra of Circ d'Alcúdia and obtained Special Mention in the III Premio Internazionale Ratataplan.
