From a real event we must qualify the presence of the Franco-Belgian company ‘Peeping Tom’ on the stage of the Principal to complete its groundbreaking trilogy on the family that began in 2012 after the unforgettable 32 rue Vandenbraden. The dance-theatre collective founded by the Frenchman, Franck Chartier, and the Argentine, Gabriela Carrizo, have been bearing torture for two decades, hypnotic and shocking spectacles that seduce and emotionally challenge an audience that is always dedicated. After Vader (Father), which became the best show of the Grec 2012 and the moving Moeder (Mother), the much awaited Niño (Child), the eighth production of the company, premiers in our country. Chartier and Carrizo, now combine their talents to jointly direct Kind, a look, raw and emotional, at childhood that aims to show how children perceive the world through their fears and desires. Everyday and dream scenarios are blended in a vibrant family portrait, where Chartier and Carrizo investigate how a child’s point of view changes as they grow up and develop on their journey from adolescence to adulthood.
