Festa de la poesia

Twenty-one years of the Festival de Poesia de la Mediterrània, to sing and have the music of words the most intimate stories, more epic, more everyday, and more human: this means that in 2019 we celebrate the consolidation of a poetic force which, with the twenty previous editions, in a constant and passionate manner, has created a tradition that impregnates Mallorca, Catalan culture and the numerous cultures and languages of the almost three hundred poets who have given us the voice and lyrics of their poems. Clara Peya, pianist and composer, will accompany the voices of fourteen poets with passion and creativity. Fourteen poets, creators of personal and non-transferable verbal rhythms, will give us in very different languages (Arabic, French, Galician or Catalan, Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian, Romanian, German, Euskera or Polish, etc.) the message of his poetry, source of joy, of love, of creative energy, of productive individuality and of food for all.
