Una introducción

Having settled in Brussels, the choreographer, dancer and researcher Olga de Soto, a pioneer in the documentary-style approach to dance, has returned to present her performance Una introducción. A show that reflects, through the medium of dance, on the survival of art over time. In it, she follows in the footsteps of The Green Table, of the German Kurt Jooss, one of the most legendary, politically engaged, brave and visionary pieces of contemporary dance, that spoke out in order to denounce Nazism and that forebade the horror that was to come. For Le Nouvel Observateur “the way in which Olga de Soto explores the past, questions witnesses and presents documents and photographs, is simultaneously so unexpected and sensitive, so intelligent and melancholic, that it manages to breathe new life into these masterpieces”.
