Andreu Riera i Antònia Vicens

The Festival de Poesia de la Mediterrània (Poetry Festival) brings together a pianist and a poet, or a poet of the piano and a pianist of lyrics, in a montage in constant creation, a permanent work in progress that will allow you to know first-hand the poetic work of Antònia Vicens and the piano performance of Andreu Riera.

Antònia Vicens (Santanyí, 1941), with a rather extensive narrative work, did not publish the first poetry book until 2009, Lovely, followed by Sota el paraigua, el crit (2013), Fred als ulls (2015) and Tot dels cavalls (2017). Andreu Riera (Manacor, 1965), with a solid classical training and numerous concerts around the world, has published the 2018 Cinema per a tres, an album with compositions by Rafel Aguiló, a work in which the pianist, in the words of Antoni Parera Fons, "gives a spectacular sense to each work. Exultant, straight to the soul".
