Joan Dausà Presentation of the album "Ara som gegants"

The celebrated album Ara Som Gegants (“Now We're Giants”) marks a turning point in the career of Joan Dausà. Since its release, it has been one of the year’s most sold Catalan-language albums. What began seven years ago as a joke between friends has ended up becoming on of the strongest and most unique sounds in the Catalan music scene. And it's with this album that Joan Dausà has consolidated his position as one of the leaders of Catalan music. He has managed to accomplish all this with the release of just his third album, Ara Som Gegants. The album release tour has seen him play at the country’s main festivals and concerts, with his shows at Tibidabo, the Cap Roig Festival, Strenes and the Palau de la Música all selling out, in addition to performing in front of thousands at Barcelona’s Cruïlla Festival and the Figueres Acoustic Festival. Dausà is accompanied by a band of four musicians, led by Florenci Ferrer (Fluren), who is considered, along with Santos (Blind Records), as one of the most influential producers in the country’s indie music scene.
