Vibra-Brincabros

Mediterranean hip hop. This is the original style coined by the Brodas Bros alongside their artistic director, Lluc Fruitós. Vibra emerges from their partnership with Brincadeira, a group specialising in percussion and led by Edison Aguilar. The connection between the companies have enabled both of them to be enriched and their projects have become true events acclaimed by audiences of all ages. The percussion takes on a choreographic meaning. The drum is of course the dominant instrument, but the party also involves electric guitar, two drum sets, a hang and even a melodic voice. The dancing (a mixture of breakdance, popping and locking) strengthens its energy and impact thanks to this ´sound track´ that is somewhere between acoustic and electronic. Its combination does away with stereotypes and barriers. And it makes street poetry blossom.
