Berta, a nine year old girl, remembers what she wrote in her diary. In all the streets of all the cities, there is a very dangerous Monster that is capable of secretly entering houses and making people fall sleep.

The father, who is a nurse in a hospital, asks them to follow a set of rules to protect themselves. That means locking themselves in the house with Nil, her brother who is always climbing on something, and her mother who is a computer scientist.

Berta’s birthday is coming and these rules will make having a celebration very difficult. Unhappy with the situation, she makes a videocall to her grandparents, both scientists who are searching for a cure to eliminate the Monster. They encourage her to face the Monster and send him on its way.
