Just after their brand-new and well-deserved Creu de Sant Jordi award, Els Pets are back with their most lively and captivating album. Taking their inspiration from the guitar pop of the Kinks, Teenage Fanclub and especially the British new wave from the late 70s (Elvis Costello, The Jam, Graham Parker), the band from Constantí put their foot down on the melodic accelerator with a handful of songs performed with rage and determination. One thing is clear, the new album is a different approach, more euphoric and colourful than their previous albums, replacing the autumnal melancholy with a string of sunny and fast-paced singles destined to become instant classics.
