Rosalía & Raül Refree

This young Catalan duo has become a benchmark for the forefront of flamenco. Rosalía is one of the most promising and personal voices of this genre at the moment. She is well aware of tradition, but she also studies technique, which she controls meticulously before freely releasing her strength, ingenuity and the ‘duende’, which she emits from every centimetre of her skin. Collaborations with La Fura dels Baus, Chicuelo or Rocío Márquez attest to this artistic career, which is only just beginning. Raül Refree is one of the big names in the current scene, both in production as well as on the guitar. Constant experimentation, understood as permanent research, has led him to work with artists such as La Mala Rodríguez, Kiko Veneno or Christina Rosenvinge. Together with Rosalía, in Mallorca they will present their revolutionary debut record, Los Ángeles, which was received as a real milestone within modern flamenco.
