The flamenco guitar player Antonio Sánchez presents his frist solo álbum Kavara. A work which is clearly influenced by the legacy of his uncles and mentors Paco de Lucía and Ramón de Algeciras.

This show entitled Kavara puts the passion and essence of the best flamenco music onstage. It is a vibrant concert with the flamenco guitar as the main protagonist. It is performed by the talented Antonio Sánchez, the master Paco de Lucía’s nephew. Sánchez played the second guitar in Paco de Lucía’s last four world tours. Throughout his successful career, Antonio has shared stage with such well-known artist as Duquende, Al Di Meola, Israel Fernández, Chick Corea, Niña Pastori, or John McLaughlin among others.

Kavara is focused on the tradition of flamenco, even though it also displays elements of contemporary jazz and modern influences. The show is emotive and profound, combining moments of high rhythmic intensity with more melodic and sensitive fragments, thus offering the audience a great richness of nuances.
