A contemporary tragedy about ethics, faith, and violence. This work was awarded the XV Premi Llorenç Moyà for dramatic works.

Cul-de-sac sets us in a close future where people are not the center of debates and politics anymore, becoming mere objects. Gentrification, excess of tourism, and oppression devastate the city. In this dystopia, two women seems to be willing to do anything in order to recover the lost dignity. But the journey they have to undertake is not going to be easy as their fight is a path full of doubts and contradictions.

Cul-de-sac is a philosophical tragedy about the limits of power and ethics, and about the possibility of rebellion against oppression and injustice. A multidisciplinary work which proposes a complex narrative from an oneiric and cinematographic aesthetic where the sound space, the stage, and the lights dialogue with the character’s interior world.

Coproduced by the Teatre Principal de Palma together with the company Clandestines
