On this occasion, the people of Jerez show us a desolate path lit up by three beggars on a bitter night looking for shelter. The play turns three characters like Sigismund, Prometheus and King Lear into poverty-stricken people, who hope to find somewhere to spend the tempests of life. The beggars are them, because the story is actually the autobiography of the La Zaranda theatre after forty years. The fundamental as an aesthetic proposal. The existential as a discursive proposal. Deciphering its essence. Here is the universe of a company, its wounds and scars, its disarmed imagination, its soulful voice, its evicted characters.
