A newly created piece of dance that aims to establish a poetical and aesthetic bond with the photographic work by the Majorcan artist Toni Catany.
Altars profans is a creation by Magdalena Garzón for four performers. It analyzes the relationship between dance and music (both old and contemporary) onstage, tying it tightly to Toni Catany’s work, especially with his still life pictures, his altars, his death nature photographs, and other forms of vanitas.
Coproduced by Teatre Principal de Palma and Magdalena Garzón.
* PLAY CENTRE: On Saturday, there is a free play center with professional staff for kids. It can be booked during the process of tickets purchase, both at the website and the tickets window.
