Lydia Cacho is a Mexican journalist and activist who has fought against the violation of Human Rights throughout her life. In 2005 she was kidnapped and tortured after reporting a pedophilic international network. These events are narrated in La Infamia (the infamy) through the combination of theatrical and cinematographic narrative. It will be recorded by a camera that constantly points to the protagonist, offering close-ups which expose her psychological and emotional dimensions to the audience.
