This work goes deeper into the sublime string quartet no. 14 in d minor by Franz Schubert, also known as Death and the maiden. This romantic composition is revisited from a contemporary perspective and it makes us travel through essential existential elements, to be alive or to die.
Asun Noales wonders about the premature transit from one state to the other departing from an organic body where bristle life perseveres in its beating, just as a breath, as a faint and gentle breeze in the form of a caress. It burns, as an unexpected cloud, as a pressing gust of wreckage and ashes.
