La sort (the luck) treats our own experience as a homo-parent and interracial family. An emotional and vital adventure but also a long administrative and judicial journey to achieve the formation of a family.
Through our live experience, we are focusing on diversity, on family models, on racial issues, on our inspirational models, on the developmental environment of our children, and on the influence of politics in all these processes.
Furthermore, La Sort also means a homage to our child. It aims to become the child’s life guide in the future. We want to respectfully, honestly, and emotionally devote this project to the child.
Finally, the intention is also to answer the following questions: What does it mean to be a normal family? Which criteria and determinant factors do we follow to narrow down this normality?
