Los Remedios is a neighbourhood in Seville built in the 1950s. In Los Remedios, two childhood friends come together to try to understand themselves by acting as themselves, the people who marked their development and the social context that forged their identity. Los Remedios is a journey into what remains in one's own body: gestures, tones, postures. It is a self-destructive, self-fiction made by two rootless individuals who are uprooting the earth in search of something to hold on to. It is a theatrical genealogy that explores the need for representation and its transformative capacity. It is a play about friendship as a response to bewilderment.
Los Remedios is a finalist for the Max Award for Best New Show and the award winner for Best New Playwright for Fernando Delgado Hierro
