Only through death, they will we see their dreams come true. Lucia di Lamermoor is one of the most performed operas composed by Gaetano Donitezzi, as well as being one of the most iconically romantic. The tragic opera tells a tale of thwarted love, family feuds, forced marriage, oppression... and madness. The stage director of this masterpiece, which is known for its challenging solos, is Nicola Berloffa, recently chosen as the “best new stage director” by Forum Opera. María José Moreno, the soprano from Granada, will take on the challenge of putting herself in the shoes of Lucia and bringing this heartbreaking opera’s complex -yet beautiful- arias to life.
