Aida is presented today at the great Opera Theatre, but a robbery threatens the show. The detective Ofelia di Lammermoor looks over the theatre and its workers in order to find a solution for the curtain to be opened as it was expected.
Inside the theatre everything is confusing, so she will need the collaboration of the audience. The spectators’ votes are going to guide Ofelia towards this or that way. This route is different in every performance. It will allow the audience to discover the different spaces and workers that make possible the opera show. We will be able to discern the aspects which are not normally seen, but which are essential to the show, even including the audience itself, who is also an indispensable part of the performance.
And as it always happens in the theatre, the performance will finally take place because… The show must go on!
Coproduced by the Teatre Principal de Palma together with Diabolus in Musica.
