The K.626 Requiem is one of the greatest choral symphonic works ever written. All the mystery surrounding its conception during Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's final days adds a dramatic aspect to this masterpiece from the repertoire. It has never been discovered how the composer was commissioned to write the work by a mysterious emissary. Even today, there is still debate about how part of the work was completed after Mozart's death. A musical genius of unparalleled depth surrounded by enigma.
This production also presents a Requiem that will be accompanied by a lighting installation that will emphasise the dramatic nature of this mass for the deceased. The result is a multi-sensory experience for all audiences to get a more direct connection with this work.
