A staircase, a pair of red shoes, an accordion, and two women.
Through words, gestures, and music, they tell the story of a poor but free girl who ends up in a well-off house. She is thus raised leaving her past misery behind. Nevertheless, she becomes soon aware of commodities and safety requiring a strict control over your behavior. Happiness progressively vanishes until she gets tired of being said what to do. Consequently, she runs away in order to get her happy, simple life back.
When you follow your instinct to find happiness… red clown shoes!
