The Mallorcan company Circ Bover has occupied a notable place on the national and international scene for some time now. Its artistic progress and the quality of its shows have earned it a place in its own right at the Sala Gran of the Teatre Principal, with what will be it its first big theatre show, coinciding with the Christmas period. It does so with an innovative and risky stage proposal, accompanied by live music.
Sentinel is a small island that is home to a tribe that
remains there without impacting on our civilization. It is a community that is
deeply bound to the nature surrounding it. We are not welcome on Sentinel because modern man makes
ambitious strides forward without looking where he tramples, and without
understanding resources or balance, unaware that nature is supreme and that one
day it will rebel.
This is a contemporary circus show that experiments with
structures built with bamboo and rope, based on the principle of tensegrity.
Sentinel is
the starting point, the sacred place that is the origin of the world.
