Pere Faura is one of the most powerful and internationally recognised figures in contemporary state dance. Always determined and committed to a distinctive approach. Sin baile no hay paraíso (No dance, no paradise) is a dance project about dancing. By using 4 iconic choreographies from the history of dance, the show seeks to re-present them and re-dance them as a symbolic gesture of admiration and recognition, but also as an exercise in comical self-criticism of the dance world and its leading artists. A choreographic collage of emblematic solos chiselled into a unique body that interprets part of the collective memory of dance. Also, in a fun personal monologue, the performer explains his dreams, problems and vision of dance from the time that he turned professional. A commitment to the moment and to movement.
