What links Italian textile industrial Luciano Benetton to the current President of Argentina, Mauricio Macri? And Macri to the famous American gunmen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? And Ted Turner, owner of CNN, to the small Mapuche clan of the Curiñanco? The answer to all these questions can be found in the very south of South America, in Argentinian Patagonia.
On the stage, two performers convert an empty theatre hall into their own piece of Argentinian Patagonia. Among mountains, lakes, virgin forests and fictitious cities, history is rewritten, a story of the rebirth and expansion of the State of Argentina, its relationship with the great capital cities of other faraway lands and the barbarities which this land and its people in the south of Latin America have systematically suffered for centuries.
