She is a puppeteer, he is a musician, and, in their cabaret, a game between life and death is being played.
Through a burlesque kind of poetry and the cabaret style, La Pendue puts the spectator in front of death. Their dramaturgic structure is similar to a Russian doll: the old lady’s life is inscribed in the actor’s lives, and the other way round, proclaiming the puppet as a universal symbol of humanity.
Awarded as the best show and with the judges’ award in the ‘Fira de Titelles de Lleida’. Also awarded with the ‘Pelota de Plata’ from the judges of the three balls in the ‘Festival Sur la route du Sirque,’ Nexon.
